My W key broke, it hasn’t even been that long

I’m aware this is a decently easy fix, but I do not have a solderer, it’s been a while since it hasn’t been working, plus I have a new keyboard after just using a $10 wireless office keyboard for a while.

The font is kinda ugly also, but the keyboard is very pretty, and I loved it when it worked!
The firmware is kinda meh, it was my first mechanical keyboard so idk if they just break like that after a few years, but it was very disappointing that it didn’t last longer for its price.

ALSO cleaning it is a PAIN, it GATHERS everything, hair, crumbs, dust, you name it and it’s in between the keys. My keys don’t stay in nearly as well as they had when I bought it, cus I had to take them off so often to clean.

The lighting looked good tho, from what I remembered it was very pretty, and I’m excited to sometime in the future get a solderer and fix it, but it likely wont be my main keyboard ever again ):

Still going strong, she's perfect!

Got her in February 2021 as my very first mechanical keyboard and chose this one specifically for two reasons. First, and most importantly, SHE'S PINK! *swoon* Second, the price point seemed like a good middle ground for an entry-level mechanical keyboard at the time (not dirt-cheap, but also not $100+) when I didn't really know yet what I was getting in to. I had done TONS of research, of course, but sometimes you never really *know* until you've used the thing first, right? In any case, as of this writing (November 2024) she's still working just as flawlessly as the day Amazon dropped her off on my front porch, and I could not be happier. I've swapped out a couple of the keycaps for Etsy finds and ones I've made myself (that was a whole 'nother rabbit hole, let me tell you) but all of the original (blue) switches are still present and functioning exactly as they should. The only complaint I have (and it's relatively minor, considering the options for pink keyboards at the time of purchase was slim at best) is that the base (?) where the switches slick into isn't completely flat so (like many keyboards) there are lots of built-in places for dust collection (and hair, rogue staple fragments, crumbs, etc.). There are more options out there currently (though still not nearly enough pink, IMO) where the base is completely flat, so cleaning/sweeping out the dust is much less of a chore. But again, this isn't a fault with this specific keyboard, it's just a keyboard struggle overall, which is why this beauty still gets 5 stars in my book.
